Crystal Nardico is a make up artist specializing in film, television and print work.
Born and raised in Southern California, Crystal grew up immersed in the entertainment industry. At an early age she excelled in art, winning numerous awards in high school, including recognition by the Press Enterprise. She continues to sketch, draw and paint to this day.
On leaving school she attended Los Angeles premier make up training facility, Cinema Makeup School. During her tenure at CMS Crystal's abilities were rewarded when she was chosen to be a part of their honors program. She was taught by the Emmy nominated make up artist Leonard Engelman (Heat, Ghostbusters, Batman Forever) and the Oscar winning Joel Harlow (Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Trek, The Lone Ranger).
Since leaving CMS she has worked on a host of projects including short and full length feature films, print work and live productions.
In early 2014, Crystal joined Gary J. Tunnicliffe's Two Hours in the Dark, one of Hollywoods leading make up effects companies. They have credits that include Gone Girl, The Wedding Ringer and Olympus Has Fallen. When not working on her own projects, she helps design and create complex make up effects, prosthetics and props.
Crystal strives to bring realism and perfection to her work in a productive manner. Her contagious energy makes her a positive member to have on any creative team.
Outside of work Crystal maintains a healthy lifestyle through diet and fitness as well as being a highly experienced rock climber, hiker and canyoneer.
